Presidential Search Town Halls and Question Submission

All MSSU students, faculty, staff, campus employees, students, community members and friends of the university are invited to attend town hall sessions that have been scheduled for each of the finalists as the search continues for Missouri Southern’s next president.

We encourage you to participate in all three sessions, as each will feature a different individual candidate.

The sessions are planned to take place in person, but will also be conducted virtually to allow those that do not wish to come to campus to participate.

Each session will begin with a 15-minute presentation from the candidate, followed by a 60-minute question-and-answer session.

Town Hall Schedule

2:30 – 3:45 p.m.
Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium

Wednesday, May 6: Dr. William Tsutsui

Thursday, May 7: Dr. Frank “Mac” McConnell

Friday, May 8: Dr. Dean Van Galen

Candidate Questions

The timeline to submit questions via email is now closed. We invite you to participate and submit questions during the live sessions both face-to-face and virtually.

Questions for the candidates can be submitted to presidentialsearch@mssu.edu until 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 29.
All questions will be reviewed, consolidated and prioritized by University senate members based on a number of factors including frequency of submission.

Thank you for the interest and support you have shown throughout the search process. We look forward to your participation in the town halls. Please check this page often for updates of sessions.
